I have 3 new spring-form pans and I'd like to get more use out of them and avoid getting sick of cheesecake :)Can spring-form cake pans be use for other recipes besides cheesecake?
I used to live in Germany and that's where they invented them and they use them for all kinds of cakes there. However mostly the kind with a base that you roll out, like a scone base, rather than the very runny creamed method cakes. Can spring-form cake pans be use for other recipes besides cheesecake?
Yes but make sure you line the pan bottom so filling/batter will not ooze out. If your pans will seal tight you may not need to do this. You can check by adding water to the pan to see if it leaks
