Can you substitute Splenda for sugar cup for cup in sugar free cake and cookie recipes?

Yes!!! Use it just the same.. It will be good but not gonna taste exactly the same as sugar but close. Might even use a lil less. Just use your favorite recipe cake, cookie, pie etc n substitute splenda for sugar...Here is the splenda recipe page if you want to get one off there.

The Splenda people say you can substitute with no problems. Sugar is often more than a sweetener, it can also be a binding agent for the recipe. I tried it in fruit pie and I won't make that mistake again.Can you substitute Splenda for sugar cup for cup in sugar free cake and cookie recipes?
If you are using SPLENDA for BAKING, (comes in a big yellow bag) then you use 1/2 a cup of splenda for every 1 cup of sugar.

I would do with 3/4 or 2/3 cup instead, splenda is a little sweeter than sugar.
