Does any1 know any good recipes for cake, chocolate or vanilla?

I have three recipes for you that I have made.





Fudge Coca Cola Cake





1 C. Coca-cola


1/2 C. vegetable oil


1 stick margarine (1/2 cup)


3 T. cocoa


2 C. sugar


2 C. flour


1/2 t. salt


2 eggs


1/2 C. buttermilk


1 t. baking soda


1 t. vanilla





In a sauce pan, bring Coca-Cola, oil, margarine, and cocoa to a boil, mix the sugar, flour and salt, Pour in the boiling liquid and beat well. Add the eggs, Buttermilk, soda, and vanilla and beat well. Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan, and bake at 350° F. for 20-25 minutes.





Frosting:





1/2 C. margarine


3 T. cocoa


6 T. cream or milk


1 t. vanilla


1/2 to 1 C. pecans, chopped


1 lb. confectioners sugar





In a saucepan, combine the butter cocoa, and milk and heat until the butter melts, Beat in the remaining ingredients, and Spread on the hot cake. Cool and cut.

Chocolate Farm Cake


a yummy chocolate treat from the farm!





2 cups flour


1 teaspoon cinnamon


2 cups sugar








3/4 cup butter


4 tablespoons cocoa


1 cup water


1/2 cup buttermilk


2 beaten eggs


1 teaspoon soda


1 teaspoon vanilla





* chocolate icing recipe below








1. Into a large bowl mix flour, cinnamon and sugar.


2. In a saucepan mix butter, cocoa, and water. Stir constantly until mixture melts. Pour into flour mixture and mix well.


3. Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well.


4. Pour batter into shortening greased cookie sheet with deep sides.


5. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.





(while cake is cooking make chocolate icing recipe below)





1/2 cup butter


1 box powdered sugar


4 tablespoons cocoa 1 teaspoon vanilla


small amount of milk





1/2 cup chopped pecans





6. Into a saucepan add butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk to make creamy. Mix well and cook over medium heat.


Cook for 4 to 5 minutes - stirring constantly.





7. Remove from heat and mix in chopped pecans.


8. Pour icing on cake while both are still warm.

Vanilla Wafer Cake





6 eggs


2 sticks margarine


1 (7 oz) pkg. coconut


1 (12 oz) box vanilla wafers


2 cups white sugar


1/2 cup sweet milk


1 cup pecans





Cream together eggs sugar and margarine.


Add milk, coconut, nuts and crushed vanilla wafers. Mix well.


Bake in greased and floured cake pan (either tube or 13 x 9 -inch pan ) at 350° F. for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.





Frosting





1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese


1 lb. box powdered sugar


1 stick margarine


1 teaspoon vanilla





Cream together all frosting ingredients.

Butter Cake

';This cake is practical and can be for many uses. You can also add fruit in it if you wish.';


INGREDIENTS:


190 g all-purpose flour


3 g salt


9 g baking powder


115 g butter


200 g white sugar


2 eggs


5 ml vanilla extract


180 ml milk


DIRECTIONS:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 8


inch square baking pan. Line bottom with wax paper or dust lightly


with flour.


2. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.


3. Cream the butter and blend in the white sugar, eggs, and vanilla.


Beat until light and fluffy. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the


creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Stir until just blended


. Pour batter into prepared pan.


4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 to 55 minutes or until


cake springs back when lightly touched. Remove from pan and allow


it to cool.


5. Variation: Blueberry Cake; Add 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg to your dry


ingredients and stir in 1 cup fresh blueberries into the batter before


you bake it. Cut it into squares while it is still hot.
