Does anyone have any good recipes for vegan cake?

im looking for a good vegan cake, ive looked all over online and in cookbooks but i cant seem to find a good recipe.

(if you have a chocolate one it would be really cool...)

thanks!!Does anyone have any good recipes for vegan cake?
There's an awesome chocolate pudding cake recipe in ';How it All Vegan'; by Sarah Kramer and Tanya Barnard. Darn, I haven't made that in ages, and I wonder why because it is DECADENT. It's sort of like a volcano cake.

You can also take any cake recipe and use soy milk in place of cows' milk and one of the following for eggs:

1) Ener-G Egg Replacer. Mix 1/2 tbsp replacer with 2 tbsp water per egg before mixing with the batter.

2) Soak 1 tbsp flax seeds in 3 tbsp water to a goopy consistency. This makes one ';egg';

3) 1/4 cup silken tofu per egg.

Some people recommend using applesauce, but I've used recipes that call for applesauce, and it's just not as good.

There are some other good recipes in Sarah Kramer's other cookbooks, ';Garden of Vegan'; and ';La Dolce Vegan.';Does anyone have any good recipes for vegan cake?
This is the best vegan cake that I've made.
